For devoted fans of actress Sydney Sweeney, a unique opportunity has emerged: they can now indulge in her bathwater in the form of a limited-edition soap, created by the men's natural body wash brand, Dr. Squatch. This intriguing product comes after Sweeney's appearance in a viral commercial for the brand, where she was seen relaxing in a bathtub, captivating audiences with her charm and humor.

The Emmy-nominated actress, who gained widespread recognition for her role in the HBO hit series "Euphoria," took to Instagram to announce the exciting news. In a joint post with Dr. Squatch, she humorously addressed the overwhelming responses she received following the commercial. "You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it," she wrote, adding an element of playful engagement with her fanbase.

This novel product, aptly named "Sydney's Bathwater Bliss," is set to launch on the Dr. Squatch website on June 6 at 12 p.m. It will be available for a limited time, priced at $8 per bar. The soap's description teases its unique character, claiming to be "the perfect combination of the two best places on the planet: The outdoors and Sydney Sweeney’s bathtub." With ingredients like sand, sea salt, and shea butter, the bar also features Sweeney's bathwater as a key element, whimsically referred to as "one of nature's finest aphrodisiacs."

Adding to the allure, the soap has a distinctive scent called "morning wood," which combines the refreshing aromas of pine, Douglas fir, and earthy moss, alongside a hint of the actress's bathwater. The brand playfully remarked, “Why? Because y’all wouldn’t stop asking,” while showcasing some of the quirky fan mail they received, which included humorous requests for Sweeney's bathwater to be used for watering bonsai trees or even as eye drops.

Sweeney, with her trademark light-heartedness, commented on the unusual nature of the product, stating, “When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap.” Her sentiments were echoed in a release featured by NBC Washington, where she referred to the soap as "weird in the best way" and described it as an "unforgettable" addition to the world of personal care.

Despite the novelty of the soap, reactions from fans have been mixed. Some Instagram users expressed their disapproval, labeling the product as "disgusting," while others were left in disbelief at the very concept of bathing water being transformed into soap. However, Sweeney remained enthusiastic about her collaboration with Dr. Squatch, emphasizing the product's creativity and the conversations it inspires regarding personal care choices.

John Ludeke, the senior vice president of global marketing for Dr. Squatch, also commented on the launch, stating, "This bar is bizarre, unexpected, and meant to get guys thinking more deeply about what they’re putting on their bodies." It seems that this unconventional approach to marketing and personal care has certainly captured the attention of audiences, stirring both fascination and debate.
