What happens when you mix a global pandemic, political chaos, and the unfiltered minds of Trey Parker and Matt Stone? You get the explosive season 27 premiere of South Park, where Donald Trump gets cozy with none other than Satan himself!

In the episode titled “Sermon on the ‘Mount,” the iconic animated series kicks off with the sleepy mountain town of South Park in a state of uproar. Cartman is spiraling into depression over the cancellation of his beloved NPR radio program, while Randy is on a mission to thwart Jesus from taking control of South Park Elementary. Meanwhile, President Trump is too busy with his chaotic legal battles to notice the pandemonium unfolding around him.

One particularly intense scene features an angry mob that storms Mr. Garrison’s home, demanding accountability for the turmoil plaguing the town. But Garrison sheepishly informs them that he hasn't held office in years, leaving everyone baffled.

Shifting gears to the Oval Office, we find a manic Trump arguing with the Canadian Prime Minister about newly announced tariffs. The Prime Minister quips, “What are you, some kind of dictator from the Middle East?” to which Trump flippantly responds, “You don’t want me to bomb you like I did Iraq!” The back-and-forth continues with Trump hilariously confused about the countries he has bombed, showcasing the show's signature satirical wit.

Then comes the moment that will have viewers talking: a comically surreal scene where Trump is seen trying to seduce Satan! As he undresses and crawls into bed next to the devil, he awkwardly pleads, “Come on Satan, I’ve been working hard all day.” Satan, unimpressed, shoots back, “You’ve been doing your stupid memes, not working!” The comedy escalates when Trump reveals his comically small genitalia, prompting Satan to retort, “I can’t even see anything, it’s so small.” Now, that’s not a punchline you see every day!

While the premiere was a wild ride, the journey to this 27th season wasn’t without bumps. Earlier this year, Paramount delayed the premiere from July 9 to July 27, causing uproar among fans. The creators expressed their frustration over the merger between Paramount and Skydance, calling it a “shit show” that negatively impacted their beloved show.

However, as of Wednesday, a new agreement was struck between Paramount and the South Park team, resulting in a whopping 50 new episodes and streaming rights to all 26 previous seasons on Paramount+. This deal is seen as a major victory for Parker and Stone, who expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them. Parker stated, “This is about more than a contract — it’s about our commitment to this organization, our teammates, and our fans. We’re focused on building something special.”
