Imagine losing not just a father, but also your best friend and lifelong hero in the blink of an eye. That’s the unimaginable reality for Nick Hogan, who poured his heart out in a touching tribute to his iconic father, Hulk Hogan, after the wrestling legend passed away at the age of 71.

Nick Hogan, whose real last name is Bollea, took to Instagram to share his grief, posting a poignant message alongside 20 cherished photos that chronicle their unforgettable moments together over the years. “This has been overwhelming and extremely difficult,” he expressed, reflecting the weight of his loss. “Hearing so many kind words and stories about my dad’s life, interactions and experiences with everyone has been incredible and comforting. My dad was the most incredible person I’ve ever known and will always be my hero.”

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, was not just a wrestler; he was a pop culture phenomenon who captivated millions around the globe. Tragically, he passed away due to what Clearwater, Florida police described as a “serious medical issue,” with emergency responders receiving a 911 call early Thursday morning for cardiac arrest. In the weeks leading up to his death, Hogan had reportedly been facing various health challenges.

Nick fondly reminisced about the time they spent together, especially in recent years after moving back to Florida to be closer to his father. “I am so grateful for those memories,” Nick shared. “They are the best moments in my life. I would do anything to have him back but I know now that he will always be watching over me.” His heartfelt words struck a chord with fans and followers alike, as he expressed his determination to honor his father's legacy. “Thank you for being the best dad in the world and for being my best friend. I love you so much, Big Dog, and I will miss you forever.”

The bond between Nick and Hulk was undeniably special, a dynamic that many fans witnessed firsthand when the whole family starred on the VH1 reality show “Hogan Knows Best” from 2005 to 2007. Hulk and his ex-wife, Linda, shared two children, Nick and their daughter Brooke, before their divorce in 2007. Following the announcement of Hulk's death, tributes poured in from across the wrestling community, honoring the man who played a pivotal role in shaping the rise of the World Wrestling Federation.
