차세대 위성통신 및 항공우주 부품에 적용되는 저유전 동박적층기판(Copper Clad Laminates, 이하 CCL) 소재를 개발·공급하는 윌코 주식회사가 중소벤처기업부의 ‘초격차 스타트업 1000+’ 프로젝트에 선정됐다고 2일 밝혔다.
이 사업은 중소벤처기업부가 주관하고 창업진흥원이 전담하는 가운데, 우주항공 분야는 한국항공우주연구원(항우연)이 맡고 있다. 항우연은 창업 10년 이내의 우주항공 기술 기반 기업 중 5개사를 선정했으며, 윌코 주식회사는 그 중 한 곳으로 최종 선정됐다. 이에 따라 향후 3년간 최대 6억 원의 사업화 자금 지원과 글로벌 투자 유치 등 다양한 혜택을 받게 된다.
윌코는 그동안 수입에 의존해오던 저유전 동박적층기판 소재의 국산화에 성공했으며, 더 낮은 유전손실과 고방열 특성을 갖춘 고성능 소재를 개발해 시장에 공급하고 있다. 이는 위성통신 및 항공우주 부품의 성능을 향상시키는 핵심 소재로 주목받고 있다.
윌코 주식회사의 박상원 대표는 “국내 위성통신 및 항공우주 부품 제조 고객사들이 요구하는 다양한 스펙과 두께의 동박적층기판을 국내 제조 및 유통 시스템을 통해 빠르고 경쟁력 있는 가격으로 제공하고 있다”며, “이번 ‘초격차 스타트업 1000+’ 프로젝트 선정은 윌코의 기술이 본격적으로 시장에 진입하는 중요한 발판이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Wilco Corporation Selected for 'Super Gap Startup 1000+' Project Wilco Corporation , which develops and supplies low-k copper clad laminates (CCL) materials used in next-generation satellite communication and aerospace components, announced on the 2nd that it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Super Gap Startup 1000+' project. These are attracting attention as key materials that improve the performance of satellite communications and aerospace components. Wilco Corporation sélectionnée pour le projet « Super Gap Startup 1000+ » Wilco Corporation , qui développe et fournit des matériaux laminés plaqués de cuivre à faible teneur en kératine (CCL) utilisés dans les composants de communication par satellite et aérospatiaux de nouvelle génération, a annoncé le 2 qu'elle avait été sélectionnée pour le projet « Super Gap Startup 1000+ » du ministère des PME et des startups. Ce projet est dirigé par le ministère des PME et des startups et géré par l'Institut coréen de développement des startups et de l'entrepreneuriat, tandis que le secteur aérospatial est géré par l'Institut coréen de recherche aérospatiale (KARI). Hangwooyeon a sélectionné cinq entreprises basées sur la technologie aérospatiale qui ont été fondées au cours des 10 dernières années, et Wilco Corporation a finalement été sélectionnée comme l'une d'entre elles.
